Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to https://akesh.in (the “Site”), operated by Akesh Yadav (“I”, “me”, or “Akesh”), a full-stack developer based in Delhi NCR, India. It describes what information may be collected when you browse the Site or contact me, and how that information is used.

This is a personal portfolio site. It is not a corporate product platform, marketplace, or SaaS dashboard. I do not sell personal data.

If you email me, message me on WhatsApp or LinkedIn, or use a contact form that opens a messaging app, you choose what to share — typically your name, contact details, and project notes. I use that information only to respond and, if we work together, to discuss scope and delivery.

Like most websites, hosting or CDN providers may log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps. I use hosting logs only for security, uptime, and rough traffic understanding — not to build advertising profiles.

If third-party analytics are added later, this policy will be updated to name the tool and what it measures. Until then, assume only standard hosting telemetry applies.

The Site may use limited local storage or cookies for essential preferences — for example remembering light/dark theme — so the interface behaves consistently on return visits. These are functional, not advertising trackers.

Your browser settings control cookies and site data. Blocking storage may reset preferences like theme each visit, but the portfolio content remains available.

Embedded third-party services (if any appear in the future, such as video or map embeds) may set their own cookies under their policies. I aim to keep third-party embeds minimal on this portfolio.

Contact details and messages are used to reply, schedule discussions, share proposals or resumes when requested, and maintain a basic record of professional conversations.

I do not rent or sell your contact information. I may share details only when needed to deliver work you asked for (for example introducing a collaborator you approved) or when required by law.

Email and chat threads are kept as long as they remain useful for ongoing work or legitimate follow-up, then deleted or archived according to ordinary mailbox habits. Hosting logs rotate on the provider’s schedule.

Project pages may link to live client sites, GitHub, LinkedIn, or other third-party services. Those destinations have their own privacy practices. Visiting them is optional and outside this Site’s control.

The Site is aimed at adult professionals exploring freelance or full-time collaboration. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

I may update this Privacy Policy when the Site’s practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after an update means you have read the revised notice.
